Within the Engagement Practices Organization (which is the Pre-sales organization of Market Units) of Region Mediterranean, (RMED which includes countries like Italy, Spain, France, Maghreb and South East Mediterranean) I had the responsibility of Leading the Pre-sales activities (Engagement Lead) for the Customer unit Italy & Libya for all portfolio solutions falling within the Fixed & Broadband & Convergence Market category (which is called FBC). The FBC portfolio includes all Access & Transport portfolio solutions including Optical aggregations (SDH and Packet Transport), photonics WDM (Metro and Long Haul), Access (FTTx solutions), IP routers (BNG and Multiservice routers) and MW transport (Short Haul for Mobile backhauling & Long Haul Trunk).

I’m a Telecommunication engineer with a Degree in electronics (specialization in TLC) and an MBA on Telco and Media with more than 20 years of experience in Telco sector having worked first in (2 years), then in (7 years) and since 2006 in .
My strongest area of experience is technical pre-sales in network portfolio solutions for Fixed/Mobile Access and Optical/Microwave Transport. In this area I’ve been working since more than 10 years having covered roles of Technical Leader and Lead Solution Consultant supporting the Account teams, customer unit CTOs and marketing functions in developing solution strategy and tailored offering for customers in the Region Mediterranean (the market unit organization of taking care of customers in Italy, France, Iberia, South East Europe and Maghreb).
My main customer interfaces have been CTO Engineering, Network Strategic Planning organizations and Procurements. I had the responsibility to plan the activities, produce the agreed deliverables and interface internal and/or customer’s stakeholders.
