Specialization: Country programme support, Project management, administration and supervision support, gender, M&E, community empowerment, knowledge management and communications.
Overall tasks: Provide project supervision and implementation support to development projects in the portfolio of Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan as well as two regional grants in Asia and the Pacific region and previously supported the portfolio of Thailand, Nepal, Bhutan and Cambodia.
- Support Country Programme Manager on country programme to enhances the technical quality of country activities through programme and project (grants and loans) design, supervision, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and completion activities;
- Contribute to the Bangladesh portfolio review through analyzing strength, weakness and better linking M&E, KM and project impacts from project level towards COSOP and Corporate level;
- Involve in every phase of projects life cycle from undertaking data analysis required in preparation of projects design, supervision, M&E and KM activities;
- Participate in the supervision and implementation support missions to projects in Pakistan and Bangladesh as well as contribute to the preparation of reports, focusing on M&E, gender, targeting and sustainability;
- Develop concept notes for new project design;
- Research linkages across programme activities to identify critical points of integration and monitor projects/programme implementation;
- Proactively coordinate portfolio/project activities according to the work plan and budget and act as central point between the team in the country and HQ;
- Monitor progress of the project implementation by reviewing, verifying and analyzing work plans, disbursement, progress reports and final reports;
- Provide implementation support to grant recipients and provide feedback to programmes;
- Conduct financial analysis
