The project scope was to identify wastes in the current process and suggest storage layout and KPIs after the implementation of £ 300k automated vertical storage

• Identified the wastes by analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and recommended potential improvements, potentially decreasing the picking process time by 62% with no investments
• Designed an implementation plan for the transition to automated vertical storage
• Suggested KPIs for productivity, supplier performance and customer service

The project scope was to reduce waste of the Supply Centre by controlling the overfill in teabags in a team of two

• Performed a root cause analysis of the issue by process mapping the manufacturing process
• Contacted the OEM to propose a change in their software that can give the opportunity to management to quantify the overfill in percentage of the total waste.
• By simulation the overfill was quantified and therefore recommendations were proposed to improve the process and reduce the overfill by 48% (£ 16,100)

Key role within the aftermarket team to reduce cost, solve quality issues and capacity constraints through continuous development activities

• Reduced manufacturing cost by £10,000 by managing a Material Cost Improvement Project.
• Assessed risks for product and process changes and mitigated by testing through agreed validation plan with the use of DFMEA techniques
• Directly managed high-volume production changes of manufacturing plants in Romania and China (500,000 units) cycle with cross-functional teams by analysing data from production through statistical tool (Minitab).
• Completed a benchmarking process for the three main competitors to suggest new opportunity of business development.
• Illustrated technical reports findings to senior engineers to prepare communications documents for customers.
