Bachelor Thesis: Wear characterization of Aluminium-Silicon alloy and interface surface temperature modelling

I worked in the Marine Engineering Design section and was involved in the design of marine piping systems and machinery for newbuild commercial vessels.

Responsibilities:
-Concept and detail engineering of piping systems.
-Equipment capacity calculations and pipeline sizing.
-Preparation of purchase specifications for equipment/components.
-Pipe routing and modelling of equipment/components using CADMATIC.
-Preparation of compartment arrangements, piping layouts, spool isometrics and bills of material.
-Liaison with equipment suppliers and subcontractors.
-Preparation of system manuals and trial documents.
-Follow-up during production, installation, commissioning and trials.
